西班牙巴塞罗那自治大学学者来访我院

国际关系学院网讯(通讯员 谭杏英)2014年4月18日,西班牙巴塞罗那自治大学的三位学者Amelia Saiz Lopez教授、Joaquin Beltran Antolin讲师以及Irene Masdeu Torruella博士在李明欢教授的陪同下来访我院,与我院开展“中国人在西班牙”的小型研讨会。该研讨会由陈奕平副院长主持、李明欢教授、潮龙起教授、文峰老师以及数十名学生等参与了本次论坛。

讨论会中,三位学者以西班牙的中国移民为主题,Joaquin Beltran Antolin讲师首先为我们讲述了在经济危机下,中国人在西班牙应对挑战的表现。随后,Amelia Saiz Lopez教授分析了中国人的性别观念、跨国主义以及西班牙的中国家族企业。最后, Irene Masdeu Torruella博士从一个崭新的角度为我们展现了中国人在西班牙的移民进程,并展示了她最新的视频成果——一部描述西班牙的中国移民的纪录片,体现了视听教具在移民研究中的运用。三位西班牙学者演讲完毕后,与现场的师生进行了热烈的交流,成果颇丰。


此外,在来访期间,三位学者就双方之间未来的合作与交流进行了深入的交流,均表示出合作的意向。此次的讨论会以及合作洽谈意义重大,这不仅使我院师生对华侨华人在欧洲的历史及现状有了进一步的了解,同时这也标志着我院拓展欧洲华侨华人的研究事业向前迈进一步。

学者简介:

Amelia Saiz Lopez教授是巴塞罗那自治大学翻译学院东亚研究领域专家。2011取得巴塞罗那自治大学跨文化研究学博士。1990-1992,杭州大学中国文化研究非学位项目1993-1994,北京大学中国文化研究非学位项目。1987取得马德里完全大学政治和社会学硕士。部分学术成果包括“Intercultural processes of East Asia in the international information society: Citizenship, gender and cultural production”.R+D CICYT MEC (2009-2011).“Interculturality of East Asia in the age of globalization. Linguistic-literary and socio-political processes”.R+D CICYT MEC(2005-2008).

Joaquin Beltran Antolin是巴塞罗那自治大学高级讲师,1996取得马德里完全大学政治和社会学博士学位;1988取得马德里完全大学社会人类学硕士;1984取得马德里完全大学政治和社会学与社会人类学学士双学位。主要学术研究成果包括 “Intercultural processes of East Asia in the international information society: Citizenship, gender and cultural production”.R+D CICYT MEC (2009-2011).“Chinese, Indian and Japanese communities in Spain. Origins, settlement and community heterogeneity”.Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs(2007-2008).

Irene Masdeu Torruella目前是巴塞罗那自治大学翻译与跨文化研究专业博士候选人;2006取得巴塞罗那自治大学社会文化与人类学硕士;2003取得赫罗纳大学艺术史学士学位。主要学术文章包括“Back to China: Transnational ties upon return”,International Conference on International Migration and Qiaoxiang Studies, Wuyi University, RP Xina,19-21 November 2012.

The scholars from Autonomous University of Barcelona visited our school


On the 18th April, 2014, accompanied by Professor Li Minghuan, three scholars, Prof. Amelia Saiz Lopez, Lecturer Joaquin Beltran Antolin and Dr. Irene Masdeu Torruella of Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain visited our school and launched a seminar on the topic of “Chinese people in Spain” with us. Vice Dean, Prof. Chen Yiping hosted the seminar, Prof. Li Minghuan, Prof. Chao Longqi, Dr. Wen Feng and some other faculty staffs and students participated in the seminar.

During the seminar, focusing on the issues of Chinese immigrants, Lecturer Joaquin Beltran Antolin firstly talked about how Chinese economic performance goes against the tide of economic crisis. Then Professor Amelia Saiz Lopez analyzed Gender, Transnationalism and Chinese family business in Spain. Last but not least, Doctor Irene Masdeu Torruella presented the migration progress of Chinese immigrants in Spain for us from a brand-new angle. Besides, she also played a documentary of Spain’s Chinese immigrants for us, which demonstrated the use of audiovisual support in the research about mobility and migration. After the presentations, three Spanish scholars exchanged their opinions and thoughts with the faculty staffs and students, and the whole seminar was fruitful.

In addition, expressing the cooperative intention, three scholars shared their ideas about the mutual cooperation and further communication in the future with our school. This seminar and the discussion about cooperation were significant because it not only enhanced a deeper understanding about the performance of overseas Chinese in Europe among the teachers and students in our school, but also represented that our school’s researches of overseas Chinese in Europe have stepped forward.

Introductions of three scholars:
Professor Amelia Saiz Lopez, the specialist in the field of East Asian Studies in translation school, Autonomous University of Barcelona. She got the PhD degree of cross cultural studies in Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2011. From 1990 to 1992, she participated in the non-degree project of Chinese culture studies in Hangzhou University. From 1993 to 1994, she took part in non-degree project of Chinese culture studies in Beijing University. In 1987, she obtained the graduate degree of political science and sociology in Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Some of the academic works are, “Intercultural processes of East Asia in the international information society: Citizenship, gender and cultural production”. R+D CICYT MEC(2009-2011).“Interculturality of East Asia in the age of globalization. Linguistic-literary and socio-political processes”. R+D CICYT MEC (2005-2008).

Joaquin Beltran Antolin, the Senior Lecturer in Autonomous University of Barcelona. He received a double undergraduate degree of political sociology and social anthropology in Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1984. In 1988, he obtained a graduate degree of social anthropology in Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In 1996, he got the PhD degree of political science and sociology in Universidad Complutense de Madrid. His main academic works include,
“Intercultural processes of East Asia in the international information society: Citizenship, gender and cultural production”. R+D CICYT MEC (2009-2011).“Chinese, Indian and Japanese communities in Spain. Origins, settlement and community heterogeneity”. Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (2007-2008).

Irene Masdeu Torruella, the candidate of the PhD degree of translation and intercultural studies in Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2003, she received the undergraduate degree of history of art in Universitat de Girona. In 2006, she got the graduate degrees of social culture and anthropology in Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her main academic works include, “Back to China: Transnational ties upon return”, International Conference on International Migration and Qiaoxiang Studies, Wuyi University, RP Xina,19-21 November 2012.
