我院张振江副院长带队出席韩国中央大学学术研讨会

2014年2月19日至23日,由韩国中央大学、日本立命馆大学和我校联合举办,由韩国中央大学承办的“当代社会下的多重危机与可持续的社会融合”国际学生及学者学术研讨会(”Multiple Crises and Sustainable Social Integration in Contemporary Societies” 2014 International Postgraduate and Academic Conference)在韩国首尔顺利举行。来自世界范围的40余名各校专家学者及学生参加了会议。我院副院长张振江教授携师生团队一行7人亦提交了7篇论文,并在会议上作主题发言:

本次国际研讨会分设学者研讨会及学生组研讨会,讨论议题包括:“当代社会下的多重危机与社会融合”、“新自由主义全球化下的国家、劳动力及社会运动”、“全球化及长期持续的不平等”、“少数民族与社会融合”以及“对比视角下的社会融合的挑战与应对”等。来自韩国、日本、美国、英国、中国大陆及港澳台地区的国内外专家及学生从政治、经济学、社会学等不同学科进行了全方面、多层次的深入交流,成果颇丰。

此次会议的成功举行,不仅进一步深化了我院与世界各国高等院校的国际化学术交流,同时学生的积极参与更彰显了各国院校对培养学术新生代的用心。我校将继续与日本立命馆大学、韩国中央大学等国内外大学保持密切的交流与更进一步的合作。据悉,下届国际研讨会将会在日本举行,会议将进一步关注与世界发展及社会融合相关的各项议题。

此外,此次韩国之行,我院师生一行还拜访了韩国东南亚研究协会(Korean Institute of Southeast Asian Studies),双方关于东南亚的研究进行了交流。

 

 

 

During 19th and 23rd February, 2014, ”Multiple Crises and Sustainable Social Integration in Contemporary Societies”- 2014 International Postgraduate and Academic Conference was successfully held in Seoul, South Korea. This symposium was hosted by Chung- Ang University (South Korea), and co-organized by Jinan University (China) and Ritsumeikan University (Japan). There were more than 40 international scholars and students from worldwide universities joined the conference. On behalf of School of International Studies/ Academy of Overseas Chinese Studies (Jinan University), vice Dean, Prof. Zhang Zhenjiang and other six faculty staffs and students submitted seven papers and made the presentations:

Jiulong WANG, “Chinese Institutional Education Crisis and Individual Self- Remedy as Its Response”

Siyang ZHAO, “Multiple Crises in the Public Sphere of Transnational Migration”

The symposium was divided into two parts, which contained postgraduate forum and academic conference. The main topics included: “Multiple Crisis and Sustainable Social Integration in Contemporary Societies”, “State, Labor and Social Movement under Neoliberal Globalization”, “Globalization and Persistent Inequality” and “Challenges and Responses to Social Integration in Comparative Perspectives”. The experts coming from Japan, South Korea, America, U.K., mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan of China and other countries and regions jointly discussed the social issues in the academic perspectives of political science, economics, sociology and other arenas. The conference has been fruitful and highly regarded by all of the attendances.

Through this symposium, it is not only a great opportunity for universities to further improve the international exchanges and communication with scholars from all over the world, but also the actively attendance of postgraduate students is a very important way for the academic development of younger generations. In the future, the school will continue to keep in close touch and maintain further cooperation with Ritsumeikan University of Japan, Chung-Ang University of Korea and other universities. The next symposium would be held in Japan, and the topic would continually focus on the issues related to the world development and social integration.

After the symposium, Prof. Zhang and the team members also met with the experts from Korean Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, and exchanged the relative research issues.
